The long flight to Cape Town

Leaving tomorrow for the long flight to Cape Town. Tampa to Dulles (a little over two hours); Dulles to Dakar, Senegal (eight hours); Dakar to Johannesburg (another eight hours); and two hours and 10 minutes to Cape Town where we will meet the other 22 people in our Odysseys Unlimited tour.

Then the adventure begins! South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and and a slice of Botswana on Thanksgiving Day. It's a mix of urban and safari . . . urban for Tom and the big animals for me. Come with us! New postings will appear when I have access to free Wi-Fi. Operative word is free!
